Nautitech Catamarans have grown to be a world renowned brand of catamarans designed to sail. They were the first builder to understand and define the very spirit of a catamaran and the first to propose the concept of open living onboard, that combines the saloon and cockpit into one spacious, functional living area. Understanding how important sensations at the helm are to their customers, Nautitech Catamarans places equal emphasis on sailing ability and comfort.Designer Marc Lombard started drawing Nautitechs in 2009 and the brand has taken hold with their approach to create the perfect balance between performance and comfort. They want to appeal to sailors who want to sail, not just to be on a floating RV, of which you find many in todays catamaran world. Genuine sensations at the helm, good speed when conditions are favorable, and more specifically high average speed upwind and downwind. All without forgetting the important aspect of the time spent motoring, which is frequent in long distance cruising. Everything on deck is designed to be simple and reliable, easy to be used by a reduced crew, and without having to worry about safety in family sailing. This 2023 Nautitech 44 Open is a special offering. While many of todays catamarans on the brokerage market are filled with extra cabins and no storage space, have high hours on the equipment, and are generally in an average at best condition, you will find this Nautitech features none of those attributes. Purchased by the seller new in February of this year in Florida, a very knowledgeable sailor, he proceeded to cruise the US East Coast and the Bahamas. His situation changing presents the opportunity to purchase this Nautitech with low equipment usage and in excellent condition. The seller has just completed full engine and sail drive services, new bottom paint, and a complete detailing, meaning that you will not need to rehaul for services for at least a year if not two. This Nautitech 44 Open is setup in the perfect couples cruiser layout. There are two large cabins, positioned in the aft ends of either hull. In the port hull is the owners cabin with an very large head and shower forward. In the starboard hull is the guest cabin with a seperate shower and head. In the forward end on this hull is the My Smartroom, which is used as a workshop, storage, laundry room (pre-plumbed). This multifunctional space solves many of the space issues in a catamaran, meaning that you can really carry all of the cruising gear that you need to extended living aboard. The open and spacious galley and saloon areas include a real forward facing nav station, very large galley, and indoor and out door seating areas. The twin helms are located on the main level instead of in the "control tower" arrangement. Meaning that even while at the helm you are still part of the fun in the saloon. All of the lines lead to the helms and are outside of the saloon. Meaning there will be not tripping over or interference by guests while sailing. If you are looking for a well found, performance oriented catamaran than a Nautitech 44 Open must be on your list and she is immediately for sale. This Nautitech 44 is US Duty Paid and is ready for transfer to USA or other registry.

AccommodationsThe interior layout of this Nautitech 44 Open is 2 cabins with 2 heads and what Nautitech calls their My Smart Room, which is a workshop/storage room. The port hull features the master cabin with a generously large head that takes over virtually the entire forward half of the hull except for a deck accessible locker in the bow. On starboard, there is the guest cabin aft, with mid-ships head and shower, and forward the My Smart Room. There is a large sail locker accessible from the deck and the My Smart Room in the bow. Up top there is the saloon and galley along with the nav station. Panoramic 360 degrees views allow excellent visibility all around. With the B&G electronics at the nav station the autopilot can be controlled from inside, out of the weather when needed. The inside settee converts into a berth thanks for a lowering table and cushion that goes on-top. The galley is quite large, and the refrigeration capacity is gigantic for the size of the yacht. There are a total of five refrigerator/freezer units aboard, giving you all the capacity you need for extended off-grid travel. Saloon
